Silver Onion Studio is a one person studio run by me, Silver Joseph Bosch (they/them). I am a freelance graphic designer, visual artist, and activist with a passion for socially engaged projects. I approach every project with great attention to detail, vibrant colors, and thoughtful typography.
As a European citizen, I am not feeling bound to a single culture or gender, yet I am deeply inspired by the richness of many different cultures. My career in graphic design is shaped by years of experience as a visual artist, performer, and activist. From my time working as a visual artist, I bring a deep understanding of textiles, many other diverse materials, and hands-on involvement in social projects. My own life experiences—coming from a marginalized group and being a migrant—further enrich my perspective.
I believe in the transformative power of visual communication to influence societal narratives and empower those whose voices are often overlooked. For me, graphic design is the perfect intersection of creativity and technical precision. By combining bold colors, thoughtful typography, and diverse graphic elements, I aim to create work that not only strengthens your message but also amplifies and empowers marginalized voices. My mission is to use design as a tool for inclusivity and meaningful social change—to challenge stereotypes, reshape societal narratives, and align your message with the values and goals of your organization or campaign.
Visual storytelling and broad creativity are shared foundations for both graphic design and visual art. Both use color, form, good composition and imagery to evoke emotions and convey messages. For me both fields are very important tools of my visual expression which intertwine each other and help me to put people and their stories at the heart of social change.

You can approach me for a wide range of visual projects. Together, we’ll develop the right tone of voice and form tailored to your project. I can also guide you in planning and managing an entire campaign, working within your budget to find the best solutions and possibilities. I aim to make each project as accessible as possible for diverse groups.
When you reach out, we’ll start by creating a clear plan. I value transparent communication and am committed to meeting the deadlines we agree upon. I expect the same level of dedication from you that I bring to every project.
To remain true to my principles, I am committed to ethical practices. I will not engage in projects that promote discrimination, injustice, prejudice, or perpetuate harmful capitalist systems.
