Xaloc is a Catalan name for a warm southeastern wind from North Africa that carries the red desert sand with it.
When my dear friend moved to Pirenees to live in a mountain forest, she found it would be the right name for her new business. The beautiful ceramics she makes are a reflection of the local nature. Warm colors of sun, clay, water and plants can be found in the visual identity. And of course the wind itself is there as well. The logo is specially designed to serve in the form of a stamp for clay.
