Ballade of my Body is a music-movement-poetry performance inspired by the poems of the author-performer Dorota Matejová. We are working together to develop the poetry book and the performance.
Dorota describes our work process as follows:
'The performance is closely intertwined with the first publication of the poetry book including a collection of my poems. I have been writing these for over 10 years now, often dealing with and exploring the topics of the body through my poetry. The book as well as the performance are made in collaboration with Silver Joseph Bosch, a visual artist, graphic designer and performer. The whole project was born out of our professional as well as personal passions. It is my passion for performance, music, movement and writing poetry and Silver´s passion for books, materials, visual art and performance-making process.'
